I was asked to paint a mural for Baby Edith’s nursery in Greenfield, near Oldham, Greater Manchester.

Alice and Tim wanted “…some sort of Africa/Canada outdoors scene, definitely with a marmot!”

It was great fun painting a marmot, and I decided to make the mountain wall as bright and colourful as possible, as it was such a lovely light, big space and I knew would resonate with Alice and Tim.
